I believe that the most important thing we have to offer anyone, including ourselves, is our authentic, compassionate presence.

My Story…
Hi! I’m Kate, thank you for your interest and for taking the time to learn about me. I first learned about mindfulness when I was 20 years old and experiencing overwhelming anxiety. In the decades since, I often returned to these teachings, but self-compassion didn’t come easily to me as it doesn’t for most people. I always had a strong drive to push myself hard, both physically and emotionally, even when my well-being was compromised. I worked as a top model for over a decade and made an impact by being one of the first to take an active stand for body inclusivity in the fashion industry. I then studied development economics at Harvard and pursued a long career in climate advocacy, impact investing, and venture capital.
I deeply appreciate my passion to push the boundaries of systematic change, however I eventually realized I wanted and needed something different in my life. I was deeply motivated to have a positive impact on the world, but utterly burned out. So I began studying Zen Buddhism and mindfulness meditation, attending silent retreats and monasteries and getting certified as a mindfulness teacher.
My coaching practice today is a result of that journey - which was amazing, if terrifying at times.
I discovered a passion for relationship dynamics - both in the personal and professional contexts - and that I love supporting the creative and healing journey of people who also want to experience life more deeply and with greater ease.
I’m a mom, I love sports, and I love being in nature - hiking, wandering, camping - both by the sea and in the mountains.
